Just because the SOPA bill hasen't passed dosen't mean they gave up, It dosen't mean this is over. Keep spreading the news.

Watch this, it explains stuff, especially if your a A.D.H.D ridden case like me. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h2dF-…

Real reason megaupload was terminated provided by :iconmaciapaladin:  arstechnica.com/tech-policy/ne…

Spread these links, and any links you may have.

SOPA and PIPA bills are starting a shitstorm, as someone who basically sat by and watched the goings on and believed it was only "fan art" that might be effected I am not afraid to admit I was wrong.

Spread the word tell people, Knowledge is power.

I do not live in America, I am Canadian, but if something comes from this and the people stand up and defend themselves you have my support.

Megaupload is wantonly filled with game ROMS, movies, pirated software and all manner of Warez, and blatantly so, and always has been. They don't need SOPA/PIPA to pass. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (1998) already covers this. And Megaupload has consistently been unrepentant about exactly what kinds of services they offer. And even if DMCA did NOT exist, the Copyright Act of 1974 would be in full effect. Plus, it was a coordinated effort with over 10 countries! Now, if the FBI took down say, Channel Awesome or Blip or YouTube or even Justin.tv in the same "sneaky" fashion, Id probably give a shit. But in this case, Megaupload reaped what they had sown. They're no different than LimeWire, and LimeWire was owned by Viacom. In fact, they're worse because they demand a subscription for their premium services, then cry "ignorance" when they get caught for not taking better care of their own house, going so far as to create a fake veneer of legitimacy with their bogus removal tools. Just days ago, you could have done a Google search containing "download free **" and replace the ** with "movies", "games", "TV" or any specific title therein and find at LEAST three Megaupload links on the first page. I'm sorry, but I just can't get all that upset about their demise. Especially after reading THIS article: [link]

Sorry, bro. But this is what LEGITIMATELY protecting the intellectual property of IP creators looks like. Not the crap SOPA and PIPA want to mete out. And besides, with Cloud Sharing, who needs garbage, virus and warez filled pay upload sites like this, anyway. We'll all be able to snake our bogus and dubious software right under the noses of the Authorities for all days to come if one must REALLY feel the need to be a thieving scofflaw.
